Oh, I know what you mean. My dad has PTSD. And other brain trauma. I feel like the gov totally jipped us! We got nothing! No apology, no free counciling, no benefits for injury or surgery. It's sad. I dont want to get into details publicly, but trauma from explosions makes people respond slower or become more violent or braindead.  PTSD causes bad dreams, real life reactions to fake or imagined things, etc. It's scary. If you want to know more, message me! From Jess XD

Lol i no what you mean iv been there . . . It just kinda sucks that everyone is alway like "oh your days a marien! You must be so proud!" and they just dont even try to imagin what its like for us when they come home! Urg its so frustating!

btw i couldnt understand what you were saying, but now i get it. did you mean to say marine instead of marien?

Lol yeah i did sorry i suck at spelling

My dad hasn't sought any help due to the fact of this. In fact, he's in denial of the fact he even has PTSD. Don't get me wrong, he's not super screwed up in the head. However, he's emotionally abusive and my family's very stressed out when he's around. He's in South Korea right now, and when he gets back my parents are getting divorced. It's hard but i do know it's for the better for my family too.

Well my dad is retired SSG (E6) from the Army and he's told me his story about when he came home from Berlin he started to write more poetry to relieve his stress and anger
